Nevada law changes

Nevada state passed and governor signed SB 175 which addresses certain issues pertaining to firearms regulation

This bill now allows Legislature of Nevada to have more power on regulation over use of force and licensing of firearms.

Section 7 of the law now assumes those who use lethal force inside of vehicle get the same presumption of innocence as defending his home, which means a civil lawsuit cannot be brought unless there is a clear overwhelmingly convincing evidence to the contrary.

Furthermore, state now has power to regulate the transfer, sale, purchase, possession, ownership, transportation, registration and licensing of firearms and ammunition in this State, and further provides that no county, city or town may infringe upon those rights and powers. Any subdivision of Nevada must repeal regulations that do not conform.

This will make Clark County's handgun registration void.
