Heckler & Koch released push button version of their VP9 pistol.


You can't just swap the original paddle release with push button, but the push button can be flipped around for left handed shooter as well.

SIG's Next Generation Squad Weapon program candidate

Soldier Systems Daily is covering AUSA now and SIG unveiled their candidate for US Army's NGSW( Next Generation Squad Weapon) program. The program consists of two guns that will replace the M249 SAW and M4, but shoots a caliber in 6.8mm family.

The replacement for M4 will be NGSW-R while for M249 is NGSW-AR

USSOCOM awarded Nightforce the contract for Squad-Variable Powered Scopes using First Focal Plane. This scope is meant to be used on M4 rifles, up to 600m. Model chosen is ATACR 1-8x24
