R. Lee Ermey passes

R. Lee Ermey is widely known for his role as the Marine Drill Instructor in 'Full Metal Jacket'. On Sunday, April 16th, he passed away from complications from pneumonia. He was 74 years old.

His role in the movie won him nomination for Golden Globe. He also appeared as helicopter pilot in 'Apocalypse Now'

'The Gunny', as he was known, was also spokes person for Glock. He appeared in public events such as NRA Annual Meetings and SHOT Shows as well as some commercials for Glock

He also hosted the show 'Mail Call' and 'Lock n' Load' on History Channel.
