Nationwide reciprocity bill introduced

Republican lawmakers in the U.S. House introduced this bill(HR38). The bill aims to allow the holder of a valid permit to carry a concealed handgun in any state.

The bill will let people who have a valid photo ID and CCW permit to carry in any state as long as they are not prohibited from possessing a firearm under federal law. However, the permit holder needs to abide whichever state's law he is visiting.

Theoretically, someone from Nevada could carry in New York. But the law doesn't address the case where New York resident who has out-of-state license to carry from Nevada can carry in his state of residence, New York
