Pakistan looking to upgrade its service rifle

According to Defense News, Pakistan has been looking in to upgrading its service rifle. So far they have been using H&K G3 and Chinese Type-56 copies, but they are interested in something that uses 5.56x45 mm.

Some of contenders are Beretta ARX-200, CZ-806 BREN 2, FN SCAR, Kalashnikov AK-103, and Zastava M21.

It looks like Pakistan Ordnance Factories will be working with the winner to produce the rifle domestically.
