SIG officially anounced MCX Rattler. When its buttstocki s folded, it is 16 inches long and the name came about when the test firing designer said it rattles teeth when it is fired in full-auto.
It comes in 5.56 and .300BLK version. With the barrel length of 5.5 inches, 5.56 version can't use suppressors but .300 BLK can.

Barrel is not compatible with any other MCX upper. But SIG is coming up with Rattler Upper Receiver Kits adapter for AR lowers.
