UK chooses Glock 17 for soldiers

Britain's MoD announced they will replace aging Browning Hi-Powers with Glock 17 Gen4. The contract is for 25,000 pistols and 25, 000 Radar 1957 L.E.P. holsters that look like BlackHawk Serpa. The contract is worth £9 million, which comes out to £360($570 USD) per pistol and holster.

No words on how this fits into the use of SIG P226 which was supposed to replace Browning Hi-Powers.
