S&W SD review from Shooting Illustrated

Shooting Illustrated posted their review of S&W SD9 and SD40.

These are the newest models from S&W that sits between Sigma series and M&P series. The models are designed with self-defense in mind. It comes with tritium front sight for low-light use.

SD9 is the 9mm version that can hold 16+1 rounds, SD40 is the .40S&W version that holds 14+1 rounds.

The writer points out that the front cocking serrations are too close to the muzzle, but overall, this is a contender for inexpensive self-defense gun.

Price(MSRP) will be $459
