Canik pistol product safety warning

Canik sent out a product safety warning and severe duty upgrade notice. The problem was that when subjected to repeated abusive dropping, it may damage safety features and have unintentional discharge.

The affected firearms are

TP9SA
TP9SF
TP9SFx
TP9SF Elite
TP9SF Elite-S

The instructions to get Severe Duty Upgrade will be posted on Canik's website on Sept. 8.

New Jersey looking to legalizes Tasers

After coming to an agreement during a federal lawsuit, New Jersey is publishing draft regulations for Tasers.

The draft will go through a 60-day comment period, then the stun gun ban will expire in October.
