Glock to discontinue most pistols, replace with V

 Glock will discontinue all pistols except 43, 43X, 48X beginning Nov. 30th, 2025.

The dropped models will be replaced by new V Models. The major difference was changes made to block switch conversions. The first productions will be non-MOS versions. Expected new pistol shipment date is Dec. 2025

Glock has been facing several lawsuits regarding the switch conversions. The switch are illegal under federal law, but several states were going after Glock for not changing the structure to prevent it. This seems to be engineering solution to avoid further problems.

 

Dave Harrington passes away

 Firearms instructor and former Special Forces soldier Dave Harrington passed away on August 1st.

He served 23 years, 16 of which were in Special Forces. He also served as instructor for John F. Kennedy Special Warfare School at Fort Bragg, N.C.

While he seems like a serious man, he did provide shooting community with a bit of humor.
