Perun Holster by RCS

Raven Concealment Systems announced a new holster called Perun. It's OWB holster built with features from Eidolon holster line. Perun uses significantly less materials.

This new holster will replace the famous Phantom holster series as well. One unique feature is the retention adjusting slide. Material is a polymer using injection molding.

Available on Black Friday, and shipped near Christmas.

The holster works for following guns for now.
Glock 17, 19 and combination of SureFire or Stream lights.

Future version will include Sig Sauer P320, HK VP9, 1911s and more.

LAPD bans Serpa holster

SilencerCo officially made MAXIM 9 as their main showcase this year. The pistol will be available in April. It features spaces for red dot sights as well. SilencerCo staff were wearing a custom holster to show that Maxim 9 is not difficult to carry at all.

Raven Concealment Systems

RCS did not have anything new, but there were some changes made to their manufacturing process. Instead of the old way of making kydex holsters, they now use vacuum forming, which makes the manufacturing faster and more uniform. RCS is not getting rid of the classic Phantom holsters, but it will be made with the new process.

Another change was the open bottom which allows debris to fall out and allow guns with threaded barrels to be used.

Blue Force Gear

Blue Force Gear came out with ULTRAcomp Pocket Holster. It is made with their propreitary lamniate called ULTRAcomp. The holster is pretty thin and light but strong for prolonged use. Currently, it's available for

BFG rep mentioned that they are considering runs for Glock 43 and S&W J frame as well.

MARCO dispensor is for soldiers who use chemstick to mark their presence. It uses a 2" chemlight in a holster that carries 34 sticks. Dodeply one, take out the chemstick, activate it, and leave it on the ground. Once all the chem sticks are used up, you can replace the magazine inside. The outer shell works with Raven Concealment's belt mounting options

BLACKHAWK's The Omnivore Holster

Blackhawk unveiled their new holster at Modern Day Marine event. This holster is capable of holstering at least 150 styles of pistols while having Level 2 retention.

One drawback is that there is a proprietary Rail Attachment Device user has to attach to their rail. If a gun has weapon light, holster locks on to the light. There are different models for SureFire and Steramlight models.
